Firstly I really don't want to complain about the fact that my baby (6 weeks) sleeps well at night- she has her last feed (bottle) at 11 ish then one night feed at 4 and wakes up at 8 or 9am. She goes down well after a feed and settles herself which is a huge blessing. However I find it really difficult to drop off when she goes back to sleep... also my husband does the night feed on Friday and Saturday nights and I find myself lying awake nearly all night, getting frustrated at myself for missing an opportunity to get a proper night's sleep! Basically I haven't slept more than 4 hours at a time for the last 6 months as I suffered from terrible insomnia during pregnancy, now I'm so overtired I simply can't sleep. I'm not anxious but lying awake wound up thinking about anything and everything. Can't nap during the day or evenign either as the same thing happens. Even with lots of relaxing deep breathing. I'm going to ask my GP for a sleeping pill to take next weekend when her dad is doing the night feed to break the cycle of overtiredness, but any ideas for things to try before then would eb great! x

Hey. I can certainly relate to your situation. I tried listening to hypnosis sessions with my baby. My wife didn't use to approve it all the time, I think there was some kind of jealousy issue. She didn't want our baby to listen to someone's others voice, though she never admits that. But when she was completely tired she agreed to turn it on anyway. Because the baby was calm after that and we slept not that much but tightly. Besides, I remember reading somewhere that different podcasts and relaxing sessions contribute the cognitive development of a baby. So it's up to you. I would only recommend using Sleephypnopill. It has different speakers to choose the voice your baby react better.

I heard that CBD oil helps to treat insomnia well.

For relaxation and bliss I prefer to use CBD vape pen . I tried CBD oil with different flavors, but I prefer natural. In any case, it gives an amazing effect of stress and I will not change this product for anything. And most importantly, I have a good restful sleep.
