THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
Encouraging self-harm or glamourising of any mental disorder (including being "pro-ana" or "pro-mia" etc)
Sharing tips for self-harm (including best ways and/or best places)
Suicide threats or notes
Discrimination, racism, sexism or other derogitory comments, including homophobic/transphobic/biphobic etc comments
Discussing or taking part in illegal activity
Flaming, bullying or trolling. This INCLUDES a "pack mentality" where multiple members gang up on one or more members.
Political or religious discussions that apply directly apply to mental health are allowed, so long as they do not get too heated and are kept within an appropriate forum, discussions that do not apply directly to mental health are not allowed
Lying
Emotional blackmail
Spamming the forum with irrelevant content or links
"Pro-psychiatry" (those that support and will actively recommend Psychiatry and/or defend psychiatry in a debate) accounts, although welcome, must remember that this is primarily an antipsychiatry forum, where members may have been harmed by psychiatry and/or the mental health services, so arguments and/or debates about psychiatry and/or the mental health services are strictly prohibited outside of the psychiatry/mental health services forum.
Psychiatric advertisements (advertisements for psychiatric services and/or psychiatric 'treatments') are not allowed since this forum is not supportive of such things, that and advertisements are not allowed [no tolerance]
no spammy advertisements [no tolerance]
These will work on a points system, two points and you will lose the ability to post, three points and you will be banned. A system allowing for appeals is being worked on and will be rolled out as soon as possible, a few notable exceptions other than the obvious ban on sexual content include the posting of dangerous advertisements or content that could potentially be a risk to the wellbeing of members or seriously illegal activities. Advertising in any form will result in an immediate ban of at least a week and advertising psychiatric hospitals or treatments will result in a PERMANENT ban
NO sexual content whatsoever, outside of what is considered to be appropriate (for example: seeking help for abuse is allowed, however, pornographic links or images, or seeking out others for 'sexting' or related activities are NOT)
This will result in you being banned permanently, no exceptions.
These rules apply to all forum members, including moderators.
